We begin Phase One Consulting with a professional home inspection, a value of approximately $600, conducted by a licensed inspector. The inspection and our ongoing property walkthroughs every other week are designed to identify and mitigate risks from:
- Water Damage: Leaks from pipes, sump pump failures, or blocked gutters.
- Structural Issues: Foundation problems or roof leaks.
- Fire & Safety: Electrical faults and fire alarm functionality.
- Security: Vandalism, theft, and unauthorized access.
- Pest Infestation & Environmental Risks: Mold, mildew, and pest entry points.
This proactive approach protects the estate from costly repairs and unexpected liabilities. We will provide quotes for recommended repairs to protect the property. We will also provide security recommendations and quotes, from simple camera systems to full-service monitoring, allowing you to choose the level of security that fits your needs.
For items not designated for family, we can arrange for appraisals and offers for collectables, jewelry, or art. In addition, we will provide multiple quotes from estate sale companies, auctioneers or consignment sales of remaining items. If desired, we can facilitate donations of the remaining contents of the home. And will oversee the final property clean out.
